One happy guy!

It's OFFICIAL! Steve is done with his masters of engineering degree! He came home the other day and looked at me like he had something to hide behind his back! He handed me a piece of paper and said, "I think you should read this!" It was an email from his profesor, saying the final had been cancelled and that class was over for the semester! Which meant school is over for us! He was so cute and thoughtful and gave me a dozen "fire & ice" roses and a card! He said that I derserved something too for his graduation! What a lucky girl I am to have a such a wonderful husband! So... After 7 1/2 years of schooling at Utah State and University of Idaho (online) - we're DONE! What a great feeling!

Gingerbread House Tradition!

We had a gingerbread house making night at the Staley's! We all get together at Steve's parents', the day after Thanksgiving, and let our imagination juices over flow as we create these yummy houses! My sweet mother-in-law gets us each a house and we have a fun time! This is this year's house! Maybe next year Jackson will think its fun to help because he pretty much didn't care this year!

Weekend Fun!

A couple of weekends ago was one to remember! It all started with Steve's annual work Christmas party at Snowbird! His company provides a nice dinner, with entertainment, and they get everyone a room for the night! Its a nice getaway we look forward to every year!

In years past, they had comedians for the entertainment, but this year they decided to do karaoke! And to my surprise, Steve signed up! It did help they offered a $100 entry prize and $600 for 1st place, $400 for 2nd, and $200 for 3rd place! As we were trying to decide what song he was going to perform, we thought it should be a funny one, since that's how karaoke should be! When we brought it up to our family at Thanksgiving, they suggested he should sing "working 9 to 5" by Dolly Parton! So....my Steve was Miss Dolly Parton Friday night! You could imagine the costume we put together! He wore a blonde wig, turquoise high heels which his feet hung over the back of, the ulgiest dress you've ever seen (it was pretty tricky finding one that fits a 6'3" guy), a nice turquoise belt to accessorize the outfit, and of course other "things" that made the whole thing come together!

He didn't end up placing in the top 3, but everyone, needless to say, had a great time laughing at Dolly's act! I wish I could've taken better pictures of the actual performance! It was alot of fun and definitely made a memory! The next day, Steve and had a nice breakfast and went Christmas shopping! It was so nice to spend time together, since life has been pretty crazy lately! That night we picked up Jack and my Mom and went Christmas tree hunting! I love a real tree - the smell of fresh evergreen is the best!

This is Jackson waiting for Daddy to bring the tree inside! He thought bringing a tree inside the house was pretty cool! Since he's always trying to bring in rocks, sticks, and other things inside the house to keep!

Jackson took this picture of the tree! He was pretty proud of himself! Quite the little photographer - don't you think!

After Steve put the lights on the tree, we put the ornaments on! This year Jack really helped! He put his own ornaments on all my himself, even if they are all on the bottom branches and barely hanging on, he is Mr. Independent and did a great job!
Then on Sunday, my nephew, Ryder was blessed! Tom gave a beautiful blessing and it was fun to get the family together! What a fun weekend to start off the Christmas season!

Uncle Tom and Jack playing X Box after the blessing! His first time playing video games! Yikes!

A little bit of catch up...

Jack was getting a haircut!

I'm officially an AUNT! Tom & Brittney had a cute little baby boy, RYDER MATTHEW PATANE on October 13th!

The handsome little fella! Aunt Tami and her girls and I came to
visit at the hospital!

Cheesin' it before church!

Riding Dodger, Grandpa T's horse! This is one of
Jack's favorite things to do!

Cousin Nate's football game!

We went to the ZOO! Here are a few cute pics of the day!

Taking a drink at one of the famous "Lion's mouth"!

Daring!

My two handsome boys!

Jackson loves trains, so this was a hit! He couldn't
take his eyes off of it, not even for a picture!

Steve studying - how bizarre! Fortunately it all comes
to an end in two weeks when he GRADUATES! You can't
tell we're ALL excited, can you?

Jackson has a BIG BOY"S BED! He is quite
proud of it! Steve refinished it! It has been
in the family for a long time! Grandpa Staley
used it when he was a kid, and so did Steve!
And now its Jack's turn!

We went to LAGOONand it was a big hit with Jackson! Karen,
Steve' sister, works there and got us some passes! Jackson
wanted to go on every ride he saw! The little dare-devil!
His last ride was the Lady Bug Bop or something
like that and he was barely tall enough to ride, but this was the
face he made when he got off of it! On every ride he said, "again",
except for this one! He just didn't say anything at all!

Halloween this year was so fun! Jackson was a COWBOY!
We went to Grandpa T's to take pictures on the horsey! We made our
way to Grandma Staley's and Grammie's house! Our ward had a
"trunk or treat"! Jack wasn't too sure of the masks some people wore,
but he caught on real quick to the "trick or treating" concept!

Nice tatts Dad!

This is Emi, Jackson's buddy! She came to play and they
had a great time!
Steve and I's birthdays were recently! Yeah, one year older!

Overall, these past few months have been great!

Football!

go AGGIES, go AGGIES, HEY,hey,HEY!

A couple of weekends ago we went to the Utah State game! It was Jackson's first football game! We went with one of Steve's college roommates and his family and also sat by Dad and the gang!Unfortunately the fearless Aggies lost, but we still had a great time! We miss Cache Valley! After the game, we walked around campus and it was fun to show Jackson where Mommy and Daddy went to school!
