Our December festivities!

First of all... Merry Christmas to all! We hope you had a great Christmas filled with lots of fun memories! This year was a fun one! We had lots of Christmas parties, goodies, and lots of laughs and fun times! This post is a combo of things we did over the last month! Get ready for lots of pics! First off, Jack had his big Christmas party at preschool! Here are the three amigos themselves! Logan, Corbin, and Jackson after their holiday fun! They made gingerbread cookies too and he is proudly showing it off!

We had a few family photos taken and here is one of them!

We are in the process of finishing our basement and Jackson is in heaven helping Daddy! He figured out how to use the drill!

I went to St. George with my sister in law for a few days. The boys were staying home, working on the basement. My dad and Steve's brother came to help with the basement one of the nights and this is what they found Jack doing while they were working! Washing the sawdust off his feet in the sink! At least he's attempting to be clean!

Jack picked out gifts for us this year and wanted to wrap all by himself! He did a fabulous job! Don't you think?

Festival of Trees is a tradition we've had since we got married. We love going every year! This year Jackson had fun getting a "balloon sword" from the clown and loved the "Elmo" tree!

We also love to make gingerbread houses at Grandma and Grandpa Staley's! This year we decided to make a different kind of house! It was an island theme! We pretended to be in FIGI!

Jack and Grandma made one too!

Shutterfly Christmas Cards

Have any of you heard about the Christmas card deal by Shutterly.com? Well...you get 50 free Christmas cards just for blogging 150 word post about it. So here is mine. My sister introduced me to Shutterfly and she is my hero. She uses it all the time and is the one black mailing me to say this right now (even though I know it's true). Shutterfly has the cutest Christmas cards this year and we can't wait to order ours. My favorite sister and I have used Shutterfly in the past making photo books (http://shutterfly.com/photo-books/simple-path) for out parents. The quality of the pictures and the product is always great. We also got them back pretty fast. If you are interested in using the Shutterfly deal for your family Christmas cards this year (http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery), here is how:
1. Write your 150 word post about Shutterfly with some attachments.
2. Go to: http://networkedblogs.com/ar2IH and fill it out.
Then you'll get your promo code in a couple days! I've been looking at all of the cards and they are way cute. There's so many cards, I'm having a hard time deciding which one I want.
We hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

Jack's in Preschool!

Jackson's first day of PRESCHOOL! This day seemed so far away when we first brought him home from the hospital! And now its here! He started school in September and loves it! He was so excited!

He was waiting for his buddy Corbin and his mommy to pick him up for his first day! We surprised him with his new "Cars" backpack and that made his day!

Where has the time gone?

Just some fun pics this summer!

Yee-haw!

My roses! I love to work in the garden!

Steve went to Russia and France this spring on business and brought home some cool souveniers! Jackson thought this one from Russia was the coolest! While he was there, he had a neat experience of running into Elder L. Tom Perry, Elder Richard G. Scott, and Elder Rasband in Moscow! He had the opportunity to have breakfast with Elder Perry! What an awesome experience - one he will never forget!

BEES GAME with Uncle Jason & Aunt Niki and the Griffiths Gang!

Can't forget about some Miniature Golf at Cherry Hill!

Jackson-style!

Erda Days with Grandpa T & Denise! We rode over to the parade in the golf cart! Sweet!

I finally finished it! The domestic goddess I am! (wink, wink!) Jack's rag quilt for his bed! We won't tell how long it took me, let's just say its done and Jack loves it and that's all that matters, right!?
His cool t-shirt Aunt Karen
(who's on a mission in Washington D.C.) sent him for his birthday!

One of Jackson's favorite things is the garbage truck! He watches for it every Wednesday morning and this time had some of the neighbor kids in on it with him! He waves at the garbage man and gives the semi-truck horn sign! The poor guy honks every week at the kids and there is nothing but smiles for everyone!
This is Corbin, one of J's buddies!

Swinging and eating "popsciples" - we love summertime!

Hangin out with Reese, his buddy!

This is Jack's favorite!
Out little character! Having fun with his old halloween costumes and just being silly! He is always coming up with something to do!

"Jack-in-a-box"!!!

Jackson turns 3!!!

Our Jackson boy had a birthday in May! He is growing up so fast right before our eyes! With Disneyland such a big hit this year, when I asked him what kind of cake he wanted, of course it had something to do with it! Goofy!

We want to thank our family for coming and celebrating our Jackson! He has the best aunts, uncles, cousin, and grandparents!
We caught him more than once sneaking a handful of cake! Yummy!
We love our Jack! We truly feel so blessed to be able to raise him and be his parents!

I'm really good at this blog thing...

Wow, its been a while! I've had some requests to update our blog, and since I'm the world's biggest blogger slacker, I thought it was time! I will try to be better! Well its been a busy, but totally awesome summer! We started it off with a trip to the "happiest place on earth"! That's right...Disneyland! It was the first time for 2 of us! Steve couldn't wipe the smile off of Jackson and I's faces the whole week! It was so fun to see Jack light up every time he saw a Disney character or enjoyed a ride! His favorites were Mickey, Goofy, and Mater! We also got to visit some good friends from my mission n Riverside! We went to Newport Beach and soaked in the rays of beautiful California sunshine! Jack thought the sand was the greatest thing next to sliced bread! He had a great time running from the waves too! We also got to see Steve's aunt & uncle in Pasadena! But one of the greatest things for Jack was the airplane rides! He absolutely loved flying! He stared out the window the time! By the end of the trip, we were already thinking of places to go next year! It was our first big family vacation and definitely one to remember!

Leaving Salt Lake City!

We made it!

What a handsome little guy!

Sneakin' kisses on the Dumbo ride!

Waiting for a parade to start!

Watch where your hand is Scully!

Couldn't be there without saying hi to these guys!

A picture with the main guy!
