Just catching up from our Christmas!

We had a great Christmas this year! We went to Temple Square Christmas Eve to see the lights and soak in the spirit of the season that special night! It was perfect weather! A little foggy, cold but not too cold! We then headed home to open new pj's, write Santa's note, and set out cookies. Jackson got a nativity story from Grandma Staley this year that we were able to share together Christmas Eve! It was a great night! One of my favorites throughout the year! I remember as a child being so excited, I couldn't stand it! And now, I'm so excited to see the magic again through Jack and feel the true meaning of Christmas as a reflect on what the Savior means to me!

At Tempe Square!

Getting ready for Santa to come!

Christmas morning! Santa found us!

Jack had a great time this year opening gifts! He was excited to give us our gifts he had picked out too!

And the long awaited FORK LIFT! Santa delivered! Jack about cried with excitement when he opened it! This will definitely be rememered as the "fork lift" year!

Chilaxin in his Lightning McQueen chair, using my foot massager, watching polar express - his new favorite movie!

He loves to do puzzles! He got these for Christmas and loves to put them together! ( He loves to play the harmonica he got too! Crazy boy!)

Of course, he convinced Steve to lay out all the tracks for a couple days to play with!

Eating chocolate Christmas morning! Every kid's favorite!

Smellie Family Christmas Party!

We had a great Christmas this year, despite all the sickness that found us! Colds, bronchitis, and headaches! We started out with the Smellie Family Party the week before Christmas. It is always a blast to get all together and enjoy the wonderful traditions we love so much! My grandparents have all of us up to their house in Logan for dinner, gift exchange, ringing of the bells, navitity reenactment, lots of treats, santa comes and visits, and of course my favorite, the giving tree drop off! They are wonderful traditions that I'm so glad we get to do each year! Here are some pictures from that night of fun!

Looking for the big guy!

There he is!

Jack sitting on Santa's lap, asking for the fork lift he wanted! (yes, a fork lift!)

Grandma kissin' Santa! (Missed the kissing picture, but by the look on her face, you can tell she enjoys sitting on his lap!)
I'm telling Grandpa!

The three wisemen! Luke, Nate, and Jack

The cousins acting out the nativity!

Playing the slot machine with Grandpa!

All aboard! Conductor Jack ready to go!
