HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVE!

Yes.....we AGGIE fans went to a BYU football game and cheered on the Cougars! For Steve's birthday (September 12th), we went to the BYU vs. UCLA game! Grandma Staley watched Jackson, while Steve's Dad, little sister, a friend Doug Richins, and us two headed down to the game!

Each time BYU scored someone in our section would throw tons of confetti! There was little pieces of paper everywhere! Over 64,000 people all screaming for the Cougars, needless to say it was loud and alot of fun! The game was basically a complete blow out! As you can see on the scoreboard, 59 - 0!!!!

BYU creamed the Bruins! We had a blast! As tradition in the Staley family, we walked to the creamery to get some of the famous BYU ice cream! A sweet treat after a sweet win! Its official Steve and I are both 28! My birthday was August 31st and for 12 days every year, Steve gets to give me a hard time about being older than he is! I guess that's what you get for goin' for older women, Steve:)

Our Local Adventure

Its already the end of the summer, and we yet to have taken a break and get away and relax! So.... last week Steve took the week off of work and we had a blast! We started our little vacation with a mini golf game for family night! Jackson was so funny! We got a little golf club for him and he actually did pretty good! We forgot the camera, so just imagine a little Tiger Woods hitting the mini golf course, (and playing in the water, rocks, pretty much anything he could get his little fingers on!) Steve and I got to go play golf for real and had a great time together! Then it was time for our first camping trip with Jack! He absolutely loved it! We went up to a campsite by Huntsville and had a great time!

Jackson loved the tent and thought it was a big play pen. Here he is playing peek-a-boo with the tent door! And whats a camping trip without tinfoil dinners - full of potatoes, carrots, and meat! Yum!
We had to teach Jackson about SMORES! He loved helping roast the marshmellows in the fire! His favorite snack of the trip was definitely the Bugles! This is our little Bugle Boy, chillin' in front of the fire! As the night went on, the weather got colder! But we enjoyed the campfire, the sound of the river by our campsite, and the relaxing outdoors.
After Jackson's bottle, and a few songs around the campfire, it was sleepy time! Steve had his bottle too - DIET COKE with LIME - is his fav!

We finished our little week of local fun with the Utah State Fair in Salt Lake City.
The animals were a big hit with Jackson! We saw cows, horses, bunnies, goats, sheep (which took the cake as the worst smelling EVER), pigs, and a tiger show!

We couldn't leave the fair without Jack having the chance to sit on a tractor! He loves tractors, trucks....pretty much anything that has wheels and makes alot of noise! He was making the sound effects and everything!

After we ate kettle corn, walked around forever, and saw some of the bull riding at the rodeo, it was time to go! After the week was over, we wished we could start another just like it!
